Hello all
Does anybody know what are the rules/guidelines for married couples getting the same annual leave weeks off together?
Is there a limit?
Do they have to arrange at least a few weeks where they're guaranteed to be off at the same time, especially over school holidays where child care is concerned. Thanks.

There are no rules for married couples that I am aware of.

They are treated as 2 separate individuals.

if child care an issue then surely it suits to have different weeks off? unless planning an holiday
not sure if all d/o work our system but we get put into and always stay in 1 of 5 pots, each year you move up, say 5th pick, then 4th year after, then 3rd........
to get a couple get a decent shout of been off together but are in different pots the 1 nearest to 1st pick could see if they can drop down to same pot as other, thus not jumping the queue

If this is so you can have a holiday away together as a family, common sense says you should be given the A/l. But.... this is Royal Mail.
