Sickness being called for a meeting

Boy in work calls in sick with a doctors line, before the cal is finished the manager has arranged for a meeting on the same day, is this normal for manager to ask someone to come in for meeting on the day of calling in sick?

Think rule is face to face within 28 days. Postie can refuse rearrange when it suits. Managers are such k**bs. Hope it's contagious what they're off with.

If you’re too sick to come into work that day tell them to stuff it and come to your house if need be

Just bullying tactics again.If you had a sickness bug you could go in and throw up all over your manager!
