I'm currently working at an office that is 20 miles away. If I wanted to work at my local office on my day off, do I just ring the manager there and ask them? Is this what others have done?

Go to the office, speak to the manager, give them your mobile number, tell them you'll do loops in the afternoon if needed. Easy.

Be aware though the manager of your current office could put the block on it if he's/she's arsey if you refuse docket at your current office.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
