Strike leave question
How could they stop your pay on the Friday if that is your day off? You don't get paid on your day off, so you would only get pay deducted for the Saturday if you strike then. Your Monday to Thursday pay will be unaffected.

Some have done that over the strikes, depends on management letting them do it, there is no real rule about it though.Zade77 wrote:that may be if you book leave from now though...Zade77 wrote:i think the rules have changed on annual leave, will need someone to clarify, but i have heard you will not get paid for strike days..

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If you have pre booked holidays to take then you will be paid. If you go sick after the date has been announced then you won't. Common sense really! Nobody likes to lose pay, so I understand the reasoning behind this question.
