Reducing callers office opening hours

Does anyone know what happens if Royal Mail want to cutback opening hours in the callers office. At the moment we are open till 17:30 every week day. The planners are saying we are open too long and it's not efficient. Can they just cut the hours without the public having any say. We have been open at these times for decades!!

Think they can but if it somehow gets leaked to the press by mystery person & it courses a big fuss what could they do. The trouble with planners all they are interested in is cutting hours, that’s the reason why most people on delivery agreed to strike.

As every item in the Callers Office is " time related / time effected ) will you open your Callers Office during the strike ?

I work in the callers office on my own, and will be striking !!
Most probably they will man it with a manager.

Are your managers trained on SPS .... if they are not ... how will they cope ??

Using SPS is a doddle. Anyone who has the title of "Manager" should not have a problem using it, or working in the Callers' Office either for that matter.
