Door to door arriving late in the office

for a few weeks now 15+ walks d2d have been arriving a few days late in the office...

our 2 walks were 4 sets missing this week....they arrived today....when we got back at 2pm.
d.o.m had a "team brief" yesterday telling us we have to deliver if there late if theres an offer on the d2d that is still in date LOL
ie pizza 1 month offer so will be valid.
I asked if its a sealed envelope d2d can we rip them open to make sure any offer is still valid.....I got called pedantic.

low and behold 1 of these late d2d is from royal mail advertising xmas work....quiet good they cant even get there own d2d out on time.

is there any rule preferably in writing that allows us to send d2d back that arrive late.....fingers crossed because the other 4 sets have been hard work this week.

I'm sick to death of the things, also fed up with delivering 5 or 6, and only geting 20 quid, and the phg gets delivery supliment too, and the night worker in a MC, boll0cks to that, lets go back to the way we used to get paid for it, the guys who trudge the streets day in day .

Well they can turn up with a lorry load of yorks with tracked on them,with no notice just turn up,every week there seems a cock up that we have to put right,its well broke,a strike hopefully will re address loads of issues,

It's something that happens every so often here. If they come on on Wednesday afternoon we have until the following Wednesday to clear them.

I can't see the problem with that myself. If the advertiser should complain that they weren't delivered to date spec then it's going to be apparent that there was a fail in the pipeline that they were presented to the DO late.

We're so cut to the bone already that no duty could clear a week of D2Ds in so short a time.

Wouldn't worry,
throw the lot off and then cut off at your normal finish time

How many more times DELIVERY SUPPLEMENT IS PAID FOR POSTMEN/WOMEN IN DO'S NOT FOR THOSE IN MC'S.

Can't see it matters how late they turn up, you still have a start and finish time, I'd gladly spend extra time indoors preping loads of 2D2 into the frame.

Wouldn't worry? then a hour later you put a post on about 6 hire vans last Christmas none this Christmas. You changed your tune within a hour...
