Manually adding new houses to the walk frame

So I manually added new houses on my walks on the frame.

I asked manager for frame dividers. Then used the kill off stickers. Cut off the top of the kill off stickers then used bottom of the kill off stickers. Stick the kill off stickers on the frame. Then write the Numbers/House names on the kill off stickers.

Is there a better method of manually adding new houses to the frame ???

ye good luck on that 1....3 times I rewrote mine out....twice d.o.m said they`d lost my copy....third time just fobbed off no time for them to do it LOl....

since moved walks an now have new builds on this walk so here we go again.

One of our guys had 120 calls added on to his duty due to new builds. It causes no end of problems with management as he refuses to take out any lapse because of it and/or leaving it behind on busy days. Its funny how 3 years has elapsed and still it has not been added to his frame... Its in the walk log, its in his mech and he gets additional D2Ds but it still isn't anywhere on the frame, and he's been asking different managers about it for months!!

But then again they are out there delivering it half the time

If they just updated his frame he might save enough time on his prep to be able to manage the lapsing. Though i'm not surprised... as if managers have the brain power to think of that!

Why are you adding new builds to your frame? Has your walk been tested since the last revision?

All our newbuid estates are given as O/T to whoever wants it . If a frame has had a revision and they want say to add an extra 100 homes then that frame is too long. if you have problems with management just cut off the newbuilds everyday. plus they also conveniently forget that you have to prep the extra mail which also takes more time

A plus is the way to do it and print off new frame, but don't agree to add calls to your duty

IF you want to add those houses to your frame (and want to keep it looking tidy) you can actually measure the shelf edgings and use them to produce a spread sheet and add, colour or number them as you wish.

I did say IF, a lot of Posties would consider it a waste of their time & printer ink. I know the Official answer would be to add it to the A Plus and ask your DOM to print new shelf edging. However I've never had much joy with that method. Some of our guys simply use a piece of plain white paper , cut it to size and write the addresses on it.

I was told there was no such thing as area growth!!!! You couldnt make it up!!
