mobile phone allowance

manager says to opg "why did you not inform me you were running over"
opg "the pda's do not have the option to phone you nor do i get any type of mobile phone allowance to use my mobile phone and call you at my expense"

why is it managers expect opg's to contact them at there own expense we carry mobile phones all day(pda's) yet as a cost saving measure we have no capacity to phone even our own office......

as with everything they want something for nothing........

thoughts?

Cancel your route, go back to start page, you will find an option called phone.

all the numbers etc you will need will be there, including your home office, doms number, mail centre and rac and lex autos + others.

there really is no excuse now to not ring the office.

it's the one thing that RM have done right in the last few years.

I know you say there no excuse but what if you never been shown ( I have had zero training on them)

Then you've turned the tables on them, cos instead of the PDA being used against you (GPS tracking), you've got a record on the PDA that you made the call and it wasn't answered. You could even take a picture on your mobile of the PDA ringing the office/DOM's number too

Someone at our office used the PDA to call the office , automated voice said insufficient credit

That's if they've put the right numbers in....managers swap their mobiles around that often they've never bothered
to get their mobile numbers put in the PDA list. Never any answer from the landline office number they've put in.

Nope just RAC and some other random numbers that I will never use. No managers numbers or office (no one there anyway)!

You dont need to cancel your route, just press the 3 dots in the top right of the screen and you will get the phone option come up. Then it depends if your DOM submitted the office/DOM/Linos phone numbers when your new PDA's went live and that info was programmed in.
