been bombarded with that message this week....
personally I voted the day I got the form...last week.
my pension illustration arrived this morning.

this new illustration to me is not a game changer/vote changer....
infact to me its derisory...

maybe next weeks pda texts will tell me a survey of local people says the pension offer is brilliant...and I'd be crazy to strike.

Got mine this morning and under the new deal if I retire at 65 and live till 90 , I'm still £100k out of pocket.

Royal Mail certainly know how to be 'economical with the truth'

We are actually going to get a worse pension BUT it is somehow not as bad as what it was?? Just like the Flexibility that Royal Mail want. Yes, we will still be keeping our over-inflated wages every week but in return we will be accepting those changes in the pipeline with later acceptance times - but its not all bad as we will still be getting paid weekly!

Thank god the CWU can see through Royal Mail's smoke and mirrors

It's hell of a loss for all the hard work we all put in over the years and what would the figures be if we had the final salary scheme back. But it is good to see good old Moya is not losing out with £200,000 in her pot every year you all would be lucky to put that amount away in your life time. what a corrupt and disingenuous employer we now all work for and pay their pensions at the expense of our's thieving bastards springs to mind but vote and vote YES!

So I received my personal pension prediction and it's as follows

£52k less on the lump sum
And
£8k less a year on the pension

Hummmm..... vote YES or NO?

Those who were never part of the DB scheme wouldn't get an illustration?

So it's a bit misleading to say wait for your illustration, when a large number of DC scheme people would never get one ..

Even if it was a pension 10x better than our current one you still have to vote YES. It is currently part of a negotiation between the CWU and Royal Mail. RM have contacted you to try and subvert and undermine the process. You must vote yes to put control in the Union's hands.

On the other side, there are as many clauses and get-outs in all communications we've had from Royal Mail they wouldn't honour anything they've said even if they got a NO vote.

Some time back I saw someone sell their Colleague Share allocation certificates on Ebay for about £25! For Royal Mail collecters of memorabilia everything has value!! I am keeping my consignia pen for a rainy day!

How about us all using our shareholders vote at the next AGM to say what we think about Ms Greene's wages and pension?

Haven't we got more pressing issues than worrying about her remuneration package?
If she resigned tomorrow the next CEO would be either just as bad, or worse.
Her pay is an irrelevance, move on.
