Union reps take note

I've left royal mail but speak to lots of passed managers who say that everyday they knew they were asking postmen impossible tasks everyday and bullying staff but this was due to management pressure above, all I say is that the union need other than save pensions​ but need to get better working conditions, strike hard, hit management hard, well worth losing a few quid for a better future job,

A union rep is good, as long as he/she has support from the members in that office.....

Yes, the union has a role but managers themselves are to blame for not having or using the judgement to stand up to higher bosses.

Just need to let the top union officals know of what day to day crap goes on in offices, over the years they argued for pay etc and called strikes off for talks when we've had them on the back foot, then back to crap in offices with rep on his own fighting for us, could be your time to get things on to a level playing field, hit them hard

agree but some reps will only get support if they would leverage their head out of their managers ar#es.

True - but a lot do a wonderful job in the workplace,and then to be ignored.... Staff need to start looking within....
