Colleagues at East Finchley delivery office in London have passed the Basic Skills and Standards and Workplace Management gateways of One Plan.
New delivery office manager Romulo Vinhas Chaves and his team took over the One Plan work packages from a retiring colleague.
One Plan in delivery consists of five strands that are part of a system designed to support our colleagues and ensure we comply with national standards. The next strand is Indoor Optimisation.
Romulo said: ‘I started at this office at the beginning of April. I knew the manager before me was going through this training plan.
‘I really like the idea of One Plan, which is about reorganisation of the workplace, quality, adherence to standards and freeing up time for managers to focus on other activities.’
Senior change lead John Deere said Romulo and the East Finchley team had ‘performed brilliantly’ in picking up Basic Skills and Standards and completing the Workplace Management strands of One Plan.
‘That’s two gateway assurances passed and we’re now ready for Indoor Optimisation,’ he added.
Romulo, who joined Royal Mail on a graduate scheme, said One Plan complements what he learned.
