Refusal of Management Request

How is it right to be told to count mail as a performance standard and would not the one minute test suffice? Should I refuse this two hour or so test could I be suspended for not doing it I find this whole thing deeply deeming by the management team in our office!

Count the mail, then treble it, how would they ever know if they are not prepared to assess mail volumes properly and expect you to do everything for them?

Why should I do anything I get paid for delivering mail not counting it.

What is it going to achieve, the DOM assessing how high you can count?

I would argue the point, but I would end up doing it and leaving mail.

Well if I had to count it it all it would take me longer but I personally hate delaying the customers mail what right does some twat who avoids doing work by becoming a manager have a right to question my integrity my work rate and work ethic!
