Royal Mail managers are mugging my office because people give 30mins free time coming in early and 40 mins free time working through break people finnish 15 20 mins early and management say you finnished early because they don't recognise the free time.The cwu rep does nothing to help situation

What do you expext the rep to do???
People choose to give the time for free more fool them, all stop doing the free hours and give the rep some ammo to fire back when the work fails or stop moaning

People work unpaid overtime in every walk of life, it's not unique to royal mail. An office only gets mugged if the union rep allows this to affect the resource plan in the office and there's no excuse for that. If you're having proper resource meetings then the hours have to cover the workload at least on paper and a manager can't budget on people coming in early or not taking their breaks.
