Toilet breaks being timed

Dignity and Respect really!!!! when managers are timing how long colleagues take to use toilets.
Harassment of colleagues, but there is No Legal right as yet good old Tory Government.
Any advice to end this or just use Grievance Procedure?

that's disgusting , next time put your hand and ask if you can go to toilet and ask him /her where do I clock in and out for the toilet , f***ing dignity and respect stick a grievance in .

This had been raised as issue to MP see article 'Toilet Tax' as an employee had wages deducted for time in toilet.
TUC wants a change in Law as employees are currently not entitled to toilet break in employers time!!! and a break that is free from harassment.
So what has this got to do with Government is change the Law.

We have posties that can spend half hour in bogs , most of the time watching YouTube or something while their colleagues are on the sorting so maybe there are certain cases that need to be looked at .

Did hear a case about a guy in a mail centre who got a hard time off a manager for going to the loo. In the end he just wet him self in front of the manager on the floor. Now he had to go home, shower, change, drive back. Plus now the union are going into hyper drive about dignity & respect.

This sort of radical direct action is, sadly, a thing of the past

Back in the day comrades weren't afraid to show a bit of initiative.

Male manager challenged female colleague for frequency of toilet breaks. Manager gave no thought or consideration that colleague was on her period.

Caused lot of distress to colleague so advised her to report this manager to CWU rep.
And senior management wonder why we are Not a happy workforce!!!!!

What the hell you expect these buggers in management only care for themselves probably have difficulty treating their own children from the staff by the way we are spoken to this needs to be addressed by this strike action.
