Ok I have a part timer been working in my office for just over 2yrs on a 25hr contract and he wants to know how long does he need to give for handing in his notice I've heard it's 5days is this correct

Some new contracts state 28 days notice, but most Posties will be a one week notice.
All post by me in Green are Admin Posts.
Any post in any other colour is my own responsibility.

Generally a week but why would you give a months notice if you are only paid a week in hand?

Because we are Royal Mail's most valuable resource, well that's what they used to say, so it might take more them a week to replace us. :arrrghhh
