next years savings

Post by cruisey »

Found out today that all offices in the birmingham area will have to make a budget saving of 8%. In the agreement we are balloting on it states, 50:50 on any productivity savings. How in fecks name am i supposed to agree to 210 hours of cuts per week without being lynched by my members. time to step aside as rep me thinks :wave :wave

8% here in my part of London too. Where the hell is it going too end.Year on year they want more savings. Finally (v soon in our case) there will be nothing to take, and the whole job will implode. The old 50-50 scheme will be redundant then.Another hit in our wages too,

We've still got the revision from January to be voted in and then (according to our DOM), they have to save another 6%, but no more revision allowed.

It's going to be another painful year ahead. :evil/mad

We could all agree to work for nothing then under the 50/50 deal we could get half pay and our union leaders can ask for our thanks for securing such a great modern realistic deal

And still the managers will get their bonuses even if we don't reach the savings target! What bollocks!
