ballot papers

I have just finished reading the article titled National dispute briefing report which states that the ballot papers will be despatched next weekend or at the beginning of the week after can some one tell me why it should take so long to recieve these papers....do you think the timing of this could have something to do with a better vote for the agreement with the lure of 175 pounds plus back pay from the 1st of oct which would fall right on the doorstep of christmas,after all when we were in the thick of it i was recieving information from CWU much quicker than this.

No doubt ballot papers and results delayed just long enough to get through xmas,then announced just after pressure and backlog cleared---- all about timing!!!!

We've got time to decide how we want to vote. And to digest the fact that changes we don't like are happening now despite the proposed "consultation" promised in the "agreement".
If the ballot result were to be NO, I personally would rather not strike again before Christmas. Of course I would support strike action if the Union called it, but I wouldn't want any child's Christmas to be spoilt. New action in the New Year would be better.

No it would'nt....we would be a laughing stock(if we aint already)Not that i am very keen on IA,but i have always gone out on official IA,unofficial i would have to carefully.

If CWU head office kcuf this vote up by faffing around and not leaving enough time for IA announcement before christmas we are truely doomed,infact i would say if IA is announced for January the majority will say "up yours" to the union and work,i think Crozier & Lieghton were put in at the helm to break the union,their job may of well been done for them by CWU Headquarters.

If there was a good time to go on I/A it would DEFFINATELY BE THIS TIME OF YEAR because for the rest of the year u r pissing in the wind with a force 10 blowing down your hooter LACK OF public sympathy i'm afraid goes out the window because thry do not really understand what is going on USO IS ONLY recognised from within another stick to beat you with it will prob be gone soon any way can't afford it in a year or so sorrry people getting a bit detached!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
