Had a hospital appointment yesterday which resulted in me not going into work today. Had let them know in advance but phoned this morning just to confirm. "Put you down for sick absence .See you tomorrow" was the only words I got before they hung up! And I was just going to remind them that tomorrow is my day off! With appointments planned..

You best ring in and tell them you fit for work even if you not going in. Utter wise they might count it as a sick day
