Vacant Duties
After Christmas a number of vacant PT duties were offered to the PT reserves in order of seniority unofficially. One of those who got a duty has since got sick. These duties, and the other vacant duties have today gone on the board for signing except one(the duty of person who went sick).Is this allowed? Union rep seems uninterested, but as this would represent a bump in hours for someone, shouldn't it be offered up now along with the others?

Why it has been decided to omit this sick persons duty from advertising is a question your area rep ( union rep seems uninterested) should ask of management.
There maybe a justifiable reason for its exclusion such as a ring fenced duty.
