What are you wearing that is comfortable and stops or reduces corns, rubbing etc? Wearing my own shoes which is a vast improvement but still gets corns/ hard skin and eventually pain!

You need to see a podiatrist at least once a month to ease the pain provoked by corns.
It won`t hurt you and cost aprox. £30 but you will see a massive difference.

You could try a brand called Thorlo.
I buy them online.

2 pairs of socks; one thin pair and a slightly thicker pair over - the friction occurs between the sock - not against your skin.
Works all the time - especially playing football !
Give it a go

Fed up with getting holes in my socks after just a couple of weeks wear I recently got a three pack of these so called 'indestructable socks' with a 12 month guarantee. Wonder how long they'll last!

This 5 pack of socks have reinforced heel and toes and feature a cushion sole, perfect for wearing with steel capped boots. The yarn has been given a special finish that reduces bacteria and draws moisture away from the skin keeping your feet feeling fresh, dry and odour free.

Fabric composition: 73% Cotton, 18% Polyester, 7% Polypropylene, 1% Nylon, 1% Lycra® elastane

have a look for "functional work socks" that look like this
https://www.sockstack.co.uk/buy/6-pairs ... WeHwyeQx1Y" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can pick them up at all sorts of places. They're intended for steel toe cap boots and I've found them very comfortable and they don't get sweaty.
