So if a postie is bad at their job they get a Work Place Coach who gets £38 extra in their wage and if a DOM is bad at their job they get a Performance Coach who is on £40 odd grand.
Any other job at any other company the Manager coaches the employee because he knows best of course but at RM we just cannot sack Managers because they cannot do their job.

Performance coach, senior coach, workplace coach, advanced driving coach. If this is the future of RM then that tells me that the hierarchy have no confidence in the capabilities of their own appointed operational managers that they put in that position in the first place,

Coaching is all part of a process to weed out those that cannot perform. If you're not achieving targets, along comes coach to put you on the right track. If you're still not cutting it,then there's the door. That's the environment we will be all working in, in the not too distant future.

It makes sense to have all these coaching jobs on high salaries when they can't afford to pay out an hours overtime due to running over time?? It's great to see this post ,a real shot in the arm just when it couldn't get any worse,I dare say they're having a laugh somewhere over it? A sad state I have to say.

Instead of having these pointless employees. Wouldn't it be better to have a team of staff out there winning back the business we're apparently losing. Or maybe getting the managers out there into their local area winning D2D business and parcel deliveries. Instead of being sat on their lazy butts coaching/bullying us on how to save a few minutes and not claiming overtime.
