my rights, if any.. regarding working in another DO...

it's becoming a right pain in the arse to keep having to work at another DO, and I guess they keep asking for me, as a week after week I go there.

I leave extra early every day, so I'm there on time, takes me 5 minutes to get to my proper DO, but takes 30 on a good day to get to the other.

I'm lucky if I get a full week at my proper place of work.
Don't get paid over time properly and its been like this for months, owed money from back in February still.

I'm constantly put on the shittest walking loop, that gets 100's of parcels every day, but I still manage to finish, now I run this.. and go as fast as I can, I have to pick my son up from school in my town at 3:15 every day, and Idelly I need to be there at 3 or before to get a parking spot. The traffic to and from the DO is hit and miss, it'll be really good or really bad, and its usually really bad... main route in and out of a town, and a few high schools in the way.

the stress and hassle don't outweigh the reward, which after chasing I get paid petrol and then have to chase up when they didn't pay the correct amount.

I believe if the other DO has needed someone for this long, they should split the duty.

was also told a week or so ago by a manager that I'd start at 8:30 at my DO, only then if they were sending me somewhere I'd go from there and would be given a van etc, but that seems to be thrown out...

To and from the other office in Royal Mail's time, not yours, don't "run", bring back what you can't reasonably do and it shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone that travels in their own time and runs maybe gets what they deserve !

Exactly right, sign in at your parent office on your start time and sign out at your parent office at your finish time. Tell them your car is off the road and you either need a lift or a van, stick to your guns,and a pound to a penny they will stop sending you

Why tell them lies.. just refuse to use your own car very simple.

As above,

Stop using your own car immediately, to travel to any depot other than your own, you will most likely find you are not covered by your insurance.

Turn up to your own office for your normal start time every day, not a minute earlier. Let your DOM figure out how they are gonna get you to the next office.

If they suggest public transport only accept it on the basis RM pay the up front costs on the day.

Before you go to leave make sure agree how you will get back to your own office for your contract finish time (not a minute later). Calculate the estimated travel and give yourself time to get back.

Don't work another second over time. Until you are paid for everything you are owed. Quote and follow the company over running procedure and cut off all mail according to the policy and keep the reminding the DOM i wouldnt mind helping providing you pay me properly ;)...

I garuantee you things will improve if you follow the steps above

Correct. You don't have the required level of insurance, therefore are refusing to use private vehicle as driving without valid insurance is a criminal offence.
