Changing your rotation day off to permanent day

Hi would Changing your rotation day off to permanent day mean you would lose your duty ?
To a Senior person ?
Or should you hold the duty till a resign comes along ?

There's no easy answer to this,it depends what's driving the change. If you're requesting the change in day off you're asking the business to show some flexibility to suit your needs, in that case you can expect to be asked to show some flexibility in return.

If the business is driving the change it would depend on why, what is changing and who it affects.
