The 3893

Post by Biggins »

The general feeling I'm getting on this site is that most posters are fed up, disappointed, dismayed and feel totally helpless with regards to the CWU. So I thought... there are 3893 of us on this site. Lets start our own union? Let the ROYAL MAIL REVOLUTION begin.
Remember, the way you do you job will affect colleagues for years to come - if you cut corners to do it quick, they will be expected to as well....and then RM will add extra work to fill the gaps.

I'm already a member of two unions, but I'll join a third as long as the General Secretary has more in common with Jim Larkin than Pop Larkin which is currently the case with the CWU.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Can i be the fat bloke?

It`ll cost you at least £100,000 p.a. plus bonuses and a few jollies with the boys throughout the year.

You wont really know what i do, but whatever it is, it`s important!!!

I'll be the travelling junket man. Apparently there is a climate meeting in Bali at the moment and I have to travel first class. As soon as the omney is transferred I'll be off and give you a report on the worldwide environmental impact of increasing the output of unaddressed communication. See I even speak like the Union big wigs do. :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy

To me their is nothing wrong with the CWU just piss poor leadership and lack of VISION and apathy from the genral membership, When I pay £2.80 a week same as evryone else i expect a vote! why do so many not vote in the pec & leadership elections or even a ballot for industrial action if YOU DO NOT VOTE DO NOT COMPLAIN!. :no no
