Message from Steve Cameron

It is with sadness I announce that Gary Burgess, our Delivery Excellence Director, has decided to leave the business. Gary has worked at Royal Mail for more than 36 years in a number of roles and, in recent years, worked tirelessly to improve working methods across the Delivery function. I am sure you will join me in thanking Gary for his many years of service and wish him well for the future. He will leave at the end of August.
I am delighted to announce that Anton Harding will replace Gary as Delivery Excellence Director. Anton, currently Processing and Collections Director for the North, brings with him extensive experience of the Operation and our Delivery strategy.
In turn, Tony Baxter is appointed Processing and Collections Director for the North. Tony is currently Delivery Director for Cheshire and Merseyside.
Ricky McAulay remains Processing and Collections Director for the South, Karen English for the West and Phil Lund for the East.
As you know, we will be implementing a new organisation design across the Delivery function shortly. This will de-layer and simplify the management structure. This new structure is designed to place Delivery Office Managers at the heart of what we do by empowering them to make more decisions at a local level.
With this in mind, I am making a number of changes to Delivery Directors. The new teams will be as follows:

In addition, following on from my announcement of 13 June that Jane Hooper will leave Royal Mail shortly, I would like to confirm that Aleta Weir will cover the role of Quality Director, reporting to me on an interim basis until a permanent appointment is made.
I would ask that you join me in wishing Anton, Tony, Aleta and our Delivery Directors the best of luck in their roles.

Tossers leaving to be replaced by more tossers with totally unrealistic expectations as they have absolutely no idea what this job involves. All they are is glorified number crunchers who spout s**t to be cascaded down the chain to the poor bloke at the the bottom. I tell you each and every one of them is a w****r and an overpaid one at that - sucking money out of the company while producing nothing and then having the front to tell you that you are scum who are lucky to have a job and should be thankful for having the t&c you have and that you won't have them much longer. f***ers.

I believe this to be the first tactical move by RM to get their hard nosed Mngt in place for the inevitable by August, followed by the new Mngt structure shortly to be announced, watch this space people
