If somebody had 20 years service and was full time and got offered ill health retirement,how much would they receive,if redundancy was offered instead would it be 3 x the amount offered for ill health retirement ?

highest amount ?
IHR = 34 weeks pay plus either 9 or 12 weeks PILON depending on length of service.
VR = up to 104 weeks pay depending on age & length of service.
You can find out how much VR you might get by looking at the ready reckoner in the downloads section. Although I think the terms for both IHR & VR are currently up for negotiation.
