Is there anything I can do apart from emailing moya and my area rep?
Mail is piling up

Not really much info provided! Are you personally on an overtime ban or is your whole office? What reasons were given for the ban? Explain in more depth then maybe people will have better answers for you.

Sorry. Entire office and others in the area. No excess is allowed to be booked everyone is instructed to bring mail back

Why is this? What area is this? Can't believe this is happening! Poor public paying for a service and not receiving it! Technically this is theft by RM! You could email Moya but it's most likely her her slaves reading and replying so may just get some fob off story.

imagine if the overtime ban was nationwide for a good while, the place would be on its knees! Is every office now ran on staff coming in early to sort mail, part time staff asked to come in early every week, most of offce working there day off and have been for a long time ?

Manager this morning read us an email from the top that wants 1 in 4 duties lapsed during the summer with no overtime to be booked, starting Monday.

Many walks failed. All told to take what we didn't deliver today tomorrow etc etc. Shall I inform my MP?

What exactly does election material have to do with it?
Election material isn't in your measured workload - you get paid extra for doing it.
Election material doesn't effect the lapsing plan.

Been going on for years in some offices. It's wilful delay on behalf of the management but they don't care as long as they get their bonuses.

You could whistle blow to your local paper! I'm sure they would be interested and you could always remain anonymous, but tread carefully as anyone on here have any inkling who you are could be a brown nosing snake and could go running to your dim. Emailing/speaking to your local MP is a good idea.

I don't go in early to throw in election material so it has to be done within my working hours, so it has an impact on my workload for any given day am workng.
