long term sick question.

i have been asked this question by a member,and i am hoping someone can answer for me, This person was off sick for 4 months then came back for 2 weeks and is now off sick again, what they wanted to know was if you are entitled to 6 months full pay will they start afresh from the second time you were of or will they include the 4 months they were off the first time, many thanks

Make the most of it because this time next year it will be statutory sick pay only
