Have few questions carnt find the answer to if anyone is in the know.

1) Aside from 1 min prep test how or what can they use to target individuals from walk prep to ips.
That management "assessing individual performance" doing rounds is that still bull or can it be blocked somehow. One of the lads is getting targeted Monday need ammo for the fight what they can do to him.

2) Is there an agreed length time for being on ips or prepping walk. We start at 7 so in effect is it agreed nationally anywhere we do 120 or unlimited minutes till completion or 20 min break allowed at 9.

yes they can do a 1 min prep test on ips and frame prep but theres nothing written in stone as long as he is up to royal mail standard (I don't know the figs but make sure you are involved in the counting , and they can also do a full mail count from the time you start putting your mail in frame prep test which everything is counted , d2ds , css mail , loose , pkts , parcels , redirections , spcs to tying up , but make sure you or the rep get the the mail figures from the iwp before they do it and make sure you are involved in counting the mail as well as we all know what they figures are like

, everything should be on the iwp for that duty , mail count , ips time you have , redirections , d2d contracts , tying up , van check , and the time they say you should be leaving the office. get all that first if I was you before he does anything. then push for an outdoor test if hes doing it because he cant complete or not wanting go over his time

Also there is no agreed speed on delivery frames as some have double slots

For prep testing you need to know what BSI the office is set at , when you know that you can then refer to the IWT , which will give you a prep time for each walk in the office. However the given time in IWT will only be accurate if the base data is correct

As it turned out all the 1 plan team where in & some pre auditor so he was on IPS with the other lad who was also being targeted.
Kicked off as they both said two hours max on IPS then meal relief then back on it till end. RM won as no agreements could be found and area is awol. Still looking for the answer to that, guessing it doesn't exist now in an agreement so it is unlimited time frame. Got us by the danglys as one plan want three hours or near enough on it.

One Plan can wish for anything.

If they want you on IPS for three hours .. then that's life.

You have the option at the end of your duty time.

Cannot see why there would be a fixed limit on IPS ; as 'all mail in goes out'

We where going along the lines of repetitive ssow etc
If you look at porters max they can do is 2hr.

Didn't work anyway, if you don't try what's the point. Coincident or not but those yorks emptied of lwt though
