if you are asked to work your day off, and you say yes. then on the day, you phone in to say you are unwell and can't go in, will this count towards an absence for a stage.?

well i did say that, because I was unwell, but was thinking if I did happen to amass another 3 absences (probably won't) would they get away with including that day and therefore say I had incurred 4, and put me on a stage 1.hans solo wrote:should have just said cant do ot now

Absolutely not, You were not due to attend work, it was your day off. Any attendance on that day would have been overtime and completely optional. You can't be sick on your day off.
Trust me, I'm an expert on this particular subject.
