Just a general question , In your delivery office what percentage of staff start d2ds , prepping or any such work early ?

I think the number who start early are counterbalanced by the number who turn up late, go for a fag or a coffee, discuss the football and moan about how much work they have before actually doing any.

I only ever started at my proper start time, so can't say how many were in early.
But I can say all those who were due to start at the same time as me were in before me.

Your CWU rep starts early ? That's a f**king disgrace . They're meant to set the example and they want members to support them , I pity your office mate !

Seen it all now, some whallaper in our DO was in 30 minutes before their start time washing their van. It's actually embarresing that they are that sad.

Just as way of comparison, I've worked in four different mail centres. Once, as I was about to finish my shift, I noticed some guy starting five minutes early. Nothing big, just setting up some yorks.

This is the only time I've ever seen this and so it stuck in my mind.
