Bank holiday scheduled attendence

Can anyone tell me why my office refused to pay me my sa rest day that fell on a bank holiday.they say that you get a day in lieu or pay not both.you should get the day in lieu regardless of whether you hold a sa or not as you have worked an extra day.Everyone in Enfield got paid their sa payments regardless of whether it was 2 hours or 4 hours but not the people with sa rest day

To get the answer to the specific question I doubt anyone on here can help as its your manager that made the decision. Your best bet is to get the ADR contacted and see what they advise, or your local rep. The SA seems to have the national agreement applied differently in each unit.

thanks for the reply.it seems everyone i speak to gets it and agrees i should get either a day in lieu or payment plus any sa,s you hold for the bank holiday.

Just to let everyone know I won my fight for the second time and my manager has told me I will get what is owed to me which is a day in lieu plus my Sa rest day payment.
