The recent announcement of a general election on Thursday 8 June means we have six weeks to deliver campaign materials successfully.

It’s important that we all work together to meet customer expectations and ensure a smooth election delivery season.

What you need to do

The distribution of poll cards from Friday 5 May will formally kick-off the election mailings.

Remember the importance of ensuring door-to-door campaign materials and candidates’ mail are delivered on time.
Be aware of any walks that could cross boundaries between two electoral constituencies.
Make use of the ‘stacked’ method of preparation and avoid ‘nesting’ materials inside others.
Colleagues’ questions and concerns on election campaign deliveries will be dealt with as a priority by Operations and Delivery managers.

Would it be possible that they could for once,just stop patronising us? It's not much to ask is it really. They can start by referring to us as ,"staff,or,employees", rather than the ingratiatingly patronising, "our people", that really,really grates.
