reserves

following our recent revision, which i think i've posted heaps about. and being an unfortunate full timer with not a huge amount of service, i'm resigned to a reserve. a result of our revision is that 6 of our rounds are on a 9 day fortnight and the rest are "normal" and have longs and shorts and stuff. this week, when i've had the odd day on a round which is part of this 9 day fortnight set, i've been told to come in later and work a "normal" day and not do any ips so it's okay.....apparently. so i'm booking overtime on every occasion this happens. are other reserves finding that you're having to add up all of your days hours that you're scheduled to work each day, and then record the overtime/undertime each week? I'm finding this quite tiresome and tedious, but an unnecessary evil to ensure I'm not being short changed at all, as i'm noticing that tuesdays seem to be a good day off!
