Are they really comparing us to yodal and my hermes?!?! Two of the worst self enployed delievry companies out there! why not compare us to companies such as DHL, UPS, etc?
The truth is we can not actually be compared to anybody as Royal Mail is uniquie in many ways and all the "competition" are solely parcel delivery companies!!

They are basically telling us how lucky we are to have such a well paid job as well as sick pay and pension . It's their way of saying don't even think of kicking up a fuss about their future plans for pay and pensions etc. They really are piss takers aren't they .

Ridiculous to compare us with Hermes and Yodel. They don't walk 8+ miles a day and have to do d2ds etc.
A Yodel and Hermes driver doesn't have the expectation of delivering everything within a small window, basically they can to a certain extent dictate their pace.
They can leave parcels anywhere they like and don't have to fill in an essay everytime they dispatch something.
More they deliver more they earn,and it's a lifestyle choice that they choose to be self employed.
We may be better off financially but then we do more and our bodies breakdown earlier.

Used to be TNT & "the competition" that was the big stick to beat us with,now it's the competition & our mega superior terms & conditions. As has been said,comparing us to Hermes etc is a total joke but i can see no end to this & reckon industrial action is inevitable

Best paid probably worst treated definitely the future with the idiots at the very top not good as we don't expand services but you need willing people to do this not treat them like an expense on the business! As someone said no-one owes us a living but when it comes out of my pocket for those above to survive and thrive whilst I wilt under the pressure and suffrage of people who do not know the meaning of work never mind working till you drop dead on the job! They don't care and never will the only thing that effects these so called managers is loss of their job's or so called positions and where they are deployed in this business of the fat cat empire which means climbing upon each others greasy back's to the top of the greasy pole with a big lioness at the top!
