So this is a shot in the dark as somebody (possibly wrongly) mentioned to me that i may be entitled to travel expenses.

Basically i have been working here 5 months and every day i have a 24 mile round trip - takes me roughly 45 mins each way depending on traffic. /So i just wondered if i am entitled to travel expenses or not - a colleague said it is worth looking into as i live so far away from work. Plus i do not work at the office that i interviewed for - i interviewed for one office but when i got the contract through they had moved me to another office further away.

So 2 questions...

1) Am i entitled to travel expenses?
2) If yes, can they be back dated to when i started?

Sorry no.

You can only claim mileage when working at another office. You can't claim it for your contracting office.

Are you working at the office you have signed a contract to daily ?
