im for off with stress /anxiety /panic disorders
is it worth starting greviences against mgmt

Yes but get wittneses, my first case I won

, but after 2 years he was brought back to my office

and i'm in the middle of second B&H case against a different manager

, but he has

lied about me ,made me out to be a trouble maker and that my colleagues did not like working with me.

,waiting for result.

to right it is and get witnesses , don't let these idiots get away with it , I cant believe the cwu in the ivory towers know this goes on everyday and is doing jack s**t to stop this , they should be pushing for an independent body to deal with all cases and not left to managers within royal mail to look after each other , then see how many of these would still have a job instead of just moving them to another office as that doesn't cure the problem it just moves it to another office. disgusting.

Why doesn't the CWU go to the media with this? There must be hundreds if not thousands of grievances in against bullying managers. How many grievances in the last 5 years?? Royal Mail needs to be shown in its true colours!

Glad you got back at them, out of interest,you say that you won, what did you win? Financial compensation hopefully? The bastards the sack ( unlikely, I know).

they are now abusing the attendance procedure
have to go in for meeting if your off sick or they threaten to stop sick pay
come out to your home when off sick or they threaten you
failing to recognise doctors lines ffs
absolute horrible company to work for
should be national walkout for rm abusing current agreements

You don't have to agree to interviews or home visits if off sick, so don't let them threaten you. They cannot stop your pay.

No they have been abusing the attendance procedure from day one.

You don't have to go into work for a face to face especially when you've only been off for less than 7 days, but they usually expect to have seen you within 28 days.
You have a contractual right to be paid sick pay, they can only stop your pay in extreme circumstances such as they believe you are taking the piss but then all absence is supposed to be genuine under the attendance procedure.

If they stop your pay you can do them for loss of earnings in the tribunal.

They can only come to your home if you invite them or they think you are vulnerable for example if you live on your own and they have NOT received any communication from you. The turds like to pretend it's a duty of care but condone managers bullying.

Yes they are twats and like to threaten people.
More fool them if they fail to recognise a Doctor's fit note.
Off myself with stress had 6 years of bullying and harassment including in that period a tribunal win with no help off the union, last week was the straw that broke the Camels back though.
Feck them.
The union should be all over this shite but are too busy arselicking upto management and looking after their full time paid release doing f**k all.

Don't go for grievance if you feel insulted or belittled. They will brush it under the carpet. If you go for Bullying & Harassment, they take it more seriously because bullying is illegal. Sheffield deal with B&H, Grievance is dealt with locally. If you feel bullied/ undermined/ cheated/ insulted/ harassed go for B&H. They will try to tell you that your case is just a matter of Grievance and not B&H. Get advice from Harassment Helpline at 08005874777. They are good and will tell you whether you have a case or not if you tell them the truth.
