Sickness on The Saturday before a bank holiday

If I am sick on the Saturday before a bank holiday and go back on the Tuesday, how many days sick does this count as.

3 (Sat,Sun and Mon) - unless you tell them on Saturday that you will only be sick for one day.

Book it now as one day in case you forget to do so on Easter Saturday.

I thought it was a matter of time before someone popped up with that , Royal Mail are very quick to issue people with a stage so as long as you are within their sickness guidelines go for it .

You may expect an informal review for a sick absence across the bank holiday especially if you've been "sick" before during a bank holiday.
