1st stage warning

I take it any period of absence is dealt with same still regardless of the actual reason ie,hospitalised following motor accident etc etc??,one size fits all regime??

1st stage warnings are not MANDATORY and should be at the discretion of the issuing manager and should be waived by mitigating circumstances which in this case would expect in this situation aptly covers mitigating circumstances. Ensure that you are accompanied at the stage interview by a union rep to argue this case.

Had a feeling it would be ,the common sense approach?? Been off this week so wasn't there at work,my college couldn't quite believe it and refused to sign whatever he was asked to sign,just what you want after 2 weeks off from an rtc with broken ribs!!! We have no union rep regional guy visited us a few times during revision but alas never seen again,everything seems mandatory in our office except real issues!!

Got mine next week 1st absence they got me down as 12 days upper back pain no clue where they had that from as its lower back same as I got now next absence down as diarrhea 3 days from the drugs I on making me sick soon find out if they give me a stage 1 just worried now if I have more time I will get a stage 2

Try beating this one... At Royal Mail 8 years... Not one day off sick.. Had heart attack... 1St stage warning issued..... Union got involved tho and it was wiped off... Unreal.
