Taken off walk

Hi
Im covered under the equality act, I have a number of health issues, one is my heart, I have OH reports which say I cant cope with stairs and slopes. The dom took me off my walk and put me with a partner . the walk has flats with stairs and hills, the other guy was great , I got out of breath and had chest pain, I was totally drained ,when I got home I went to bed, I couldnt go to work this morning , I found out today the drug I take is depleated by exercise, I cant give too much detail , My question is can he take me off a walk that was designed for my needs?

Im to blame somewhat because I've been doing well on my walk, I really thought I could cope,

Your DOM is wrong. Get your rep onto it, if not, phone your branch. To ignore the Equality act is actually breaking the law.

And make sure the DOM gets what is coming to him to the fullest extent of the law. Endangering the health and wellbeing of someone who is in their charge HAS to to be the the most reckless and arrogant s**t I have ever heard.

I'm sure someone in the union could make a decent case out of what has gone on and not just let the utter tool off with a grievance that won't go anywhere.

Not even that- he has failed in his Duty of Care by not following medical advice. He is allowed to do this, but he has to have a good reason why, and not just business or making his life easier.

Ignore the local rep, get straight on to the Area Safety Rep, or Disability Champion. Either of those should be champing at the bit to get on this case.

Thanks for your help. I contacted my rep and he told me he is on leave next week, Another thing the dom hates me and I've complained about him before to no avail.
