At the moment ive reduced my working hours through family friendly. I have a full time contract but im only working 20 hours in the week. If i took vr would this effect my payout on my reduced hours?

It would depend on what arrangement you have made with the company in reducing your hours to family friendly and if this is a temporary arrangement. Your contract of employment still remains full time and you have not been issued with a revised contract of employment placing you on a 20 hour contracted hours. If VR is to be offered to you it will show you the companies offer for you accepting VR. You will then be able to see on what basis your VR package has been calculated whether on F/T hours or your present reduced hours . Having been giving FF hours then you will probably not been contributing to RM pension scheme for a long period and this would also have to be considered. Wait until you receive the VR package details and this will give you an idea if your VR has in fact been calculated on the FF hours.
