lapsing and work to time

on sat mgmt asked eveyone if they could manage lapsing
some did
some duties had bulk postings council letters and virgin media
on return to office mgmt insisted everyone worked their hours
except those who took out lapsing they left early
some didnt even return to office
others who hadnt enough time to go back out on delivery were forced and i mean forced
to prep in mondays d2d to their finish time
bearing in mind peeps not taking breaks as they should
troops not happy

Staffs own fault for not taking the proper break.

Working to your finish time is normal in any other job I don't see a problem, but that's a whole different discussion. ( This same reason of trying to knock off early is why staff didn't take their break in the first place!.)

Follow and work to the rules and this type of shoddy management won't effect you.

Discrimination, right there.

If it's standard practice to let OPGs not take breaks on Saturdays to finish earlier, managers should have announced that they wanted to change the rules before anyone left for delivery, over the tannoy system.
