Pay protection on SA

If I have got SA attached to my duty and Royal mail either want to reduce it or get rid of it should I be pay protected.

Re SA my understanding is that they they can take it away if they want but with SA they have to give 4 weeks notice. As with overtime it is not pay protected the only benefit is that you get it paid if you are on A/L re weeks off not odd days.

You do not receive pay protection for SA. The only allowances you receive pay protection on is pensionable allowances including nights which attract only half pensionablity.
