City center delivery

Hey I've Applied for a transfer to a city and am wondering what city center delivery is like vs council estates and normal houses

Probably more flats / apartment and business mail. Depending on the city location.

I could imagine collections being a nightmare in the city if you ever had to do one.

Depends what your after, I work in a City office in the West Midlands, some of the jobs can be long, heavy, loops that are two big, fittings that are not planned the way u deliver also if u are moving to a city area congestion is a major problem in some area's especially when going out onto your job in the morning, if u are on a rural job u will properly use the van more on city routes it is more park & loop. Also many city areas mine included expect u to do flex every day.
