Depends I suppose on what your office managers are like, having seen the failures over the past few months at other offices, then ,I wouldn't worry too much about it. Prepare your defence though, just in case.

If the van was locked it is on royal mail property and as such is in safe storage it is not unintentional delay just a misunderstanding and should be a verbal warning as to not do it again.malkmus wrote:I accidentally left a small 739 parcel in the back of a van in a pouch bag.
Am I correct in thinking this would apply -
Unintentional delay
Royal Mail Group recognises that genuine mistakes and misunderstandings do
occur and it is not our intention that such cases should be dealt with under the
Conduct policy beyond informal discussions for the isolated instance.

Now this previously was true but if they came in today for it but it's missing then make a CS complaint. Dom gets it Tuesday morning who happens to be a jobsworth could it then be classed as unintentional?k979aaa wrote: If the van was locked it is on royal mail property and as such is in safe storage it is not unintentional delay just a misunderstanding and should be a verbal warning as to not do it again.
As for OP, have seen far worse, without any like this going past a chat with Dom at worst.
