Hello
Long story short I have a transfer request in (I feel like an unhappy footballer) and I know the office I want to transfer to has vacancies but my boss doesn't want to know and has blocked it. Where do I stand?

I don't think it can be blocked if it's applied for through success factors. Apply to the office you want to transfer to via Success Factors job advert and you will get priority over new applicants and then it's down to seniority I think if another person has requested a transfer to the same office. Applying is easy and no testing etc.
I know several people that have gone down this route and been successfully transfer. Once personnel authorise it / offer you the position the two managers have to agree a transfer date within 28 days. The only caveat is the hours offered - it could be more or less at the new office depending whats advertised - you'd have to accept what's advertised.
