what is the official line on Vaping inside the delivery office?

I believe it should be classed as smoking and done outside in a designated area.

Don't know the official stance on it but I agree that it should be done outside. I'm a vaper and I wouldn't even consider doing it indoors out of common courtesy if nothing else. I have also seen other posties doing it whilst out on their rounds. That for me is also a no-no.

Officially not allowed. Must use the smoking area to Vape.

HSE does not enforce legislation or standards for e-cigarettes.

Got a new partner who does it at the end of each loop as approaching the van then exhales in the van I then go home tasting a chemical like poison taste in the back of my throat... I did politely say to him about it but can see this becoming a proper issue for me

Never seen anyone smoking one of those things indoors. Always amuses me to see how much "Smoke" comes out of the windows of a vehicle when the drivers puffing away on one of those. Looks like Thomas the Tank engine!

That's because so many people buy them and set them up to produce the most amount of "smoke" possible. I use one which I bought to get me off the real fags (it worked, just need something to get me off the vape now ) but it's these hobbyist folks who make us look bad. I've seen them sitting at WTL making as many huge clouds as they could before the DOM gets in, giggling like a school kid fannying around at a school assembly. No need for it at work!

As a postie that has vaped for 4 years instead of smoking, I don't do it in the office as it is deemed by the the majority as the same as smoking. It's not a problem, I just vape with the smokers outside. What does slightly annoy me is the real lack of understanding of what vaping is. It 'looks' like smoking but there's no actual burning of toxic chemicals,it's nicotene and glycerin heated by a wire element to produce vapour, similar to a kettle but nowhere near as hot!
There's a documentary film called ' A Billion Lives ' doing the rounds at film festivals, that has 'properly' investigated vaping and why governments are intent to stop it, once seen your perceptions may change.

Yeah, apart from the unregulated imports (like the vile Eastern European fags always on offer by someone) where no-one knows what's being released into the atmosphere because no-one knows what's gone into them.
Governments "intent to stop it"? Sounds like another one for the C/T's.
