what a joke this strikes been !!
also our union guy told me yesterday the union fees are going up in a few weeks too nearly #3 a week..!!!!
whatever there smoking buy me a bg off it because i think there cheeky bastards ..why do they deserve to have us pay them a higher fee when theyve done fuckall during the strikes the only people who didnt lose a penny during the strike were managers and union reps its distgusting too think weve all lots weeks worth of money for nothing ..for years managers have wanted flexible working hours and the unions allways said no but all off a sudden theyve done a uturn and aggreed too it they sold us down the river billy hayes should change his name to humphrey bogart and start driving the african queen!!
i think nows the time to get rid of that fat bastard billy hayes and get someone with a set of balls my cats been newturd and my cats got a bigger set of funballs bigger than billy hayes..
also what pissed me off the most about the strike was the way the union promised us all theyd keep the public informed as too why we were on strike and promised us too post adverts in all the papers they did nothing at all..every customer on my delivery only heard what layton and his lap dog crozier was spinning on the news..they thught it was only over pay they had no idea the biggest reason was changing our delivery times from morning too dinnertime once i explained this every customer was angry at the managers for changing our delivery times ..what the union should have done is send out flyers to every customer in the uk asking them do the agree with later starts or not and then asked them too post them too the union so they could show layton that the publioc didnt want this .if theyd done this i can tell you that the country would back us 100 % and layton would have been forced too taken on what the country had said but the union did f**k all except go for buisness lunches and go for a piss up..
managers know when tyhey ballot us this agreement will get kicked out in our office they already know this and are hammering us with mailsort so if we do go on strike again there wont be a big backlog..
also the agreement doesnt mention leaflets ..ive been told we can get upto 7 lots each week but only get paid for 3 well if this is true thats bullshit il be losing loads each week.
get your act together billy or f**k off home your about as much use as a chocolate dildo in hell !!

re: Managers don't hammer you with mailsort
I was a depot manager and got this levelled at me a few times. It's nonsense. As a depot manager all you want to do is get the mail out of the office and into customer's homes.
To think that depot managers magic mailsort out of the air to make your life a misery is bonkers.
After a strike there is going to be a backlog, granted. That backlog has to be sorted out and if RM aren't offering overtime to do it, then you will get packed up like mules until you recover.

The biggest 'screamers' .. at my unit .. complaining at the 'Flexibility' inclusions .. are the muppets that led to the problem in the first place. IF EVERYONE DOES THE JOB PROPERLY .. we can still use R.M. regs .. against them. This 'The world is changing' attitude by the morons .. hell bent on destroying the Unions & with it .. our postal service .. can still be defeated. We can scream for the heads of those at the top .. there will be time enough for that .. OR we can rally & seek to find out .. exactly what we CAN do. Let at least .. us militants .. still stay firm, united & 'keep the faith' .. amongst ourselves.
DO THE JOB PROPERLY & :lfo & :cfo can still be defeated!
I will NEVER give up .. fighting .. the Royal Mail!

HOWEVER .. my job is not done yet. We have to wait for the outcome of the postal ballot .. & fight one battle at a time. If it's a massive 'No' vote .. as a result of the ballot .. then it's back to the drawing board. If .. God forbid .. it is a 'Yes' vote .. then I shall still fight on against the Royal Mail using whatever 'plus' bits .. that I can find.

And to add to this, whether or not you (not you, FB, just general you reading this) don't want to be a mule... then DON'T BE ONE. Don't come in early, take your break, tie up enough work to take you up to your time. It's as easy as that!F0zziebear wrote:I was a depot manager and got this levelled at me a few times. yeah i ment top brass not local level but all i can say is what ive seen and what ive heard in team briefs..
im all for do the job properly but why should we when the union reps in my office wont back you up.!!!
you ask for help on your delivery such as bag off or packets off ad its the union guys and the bosses bitches that jump stright on this and do it then book phantom docket ..there telling us we can work our days off yet the union guys have worked everyone of there days off during the strike..
there telling us do the job properly one bag on your delivery no cars and the union reps are still using there cars and carrying over weight pouches out with them..
they also changed some of there holidays and days off so they landed on strike days so they wouldnt lose money..
what ive said is the truth so in my opinon the union are just as bad as management in some ways ..theres a old saying "power breeds coruption" and thats all ive saw during this strike..before the strike i was the only one who used to voice my opinon in team briefs who used to stick up and fight against changes which others were to cowedly too speak up against but in the future ill not stick for anyone of the back stabbing bastards in my office..
its also sickened me the way some of you so called millitants have turned into bullys ..some people cant keep going on strike for one simple thing they cant afford too ..some keep shouting we should go all out strike and never return until everything is agreed i can bet you 99% of the ones shouting this are close to retirement or have already paid there houses off or have a wife on better money than we get. if you wanna go all out then do that dont shout about it get your coat get your bag and stand at the gates ..one day strikes i can just about cope with financially buut if they do another 4 day strike then ill be forced too work it..not because i dont believe in what were fighting for because i do believe we need to stay solid and show we wont put up with bullying managers but id have to go back because i couldnt afford to feed my new born baby and pay my mortgage..those two things come first over any job.

From the sound of it mate your reps are in cahoots with management.
Thats crap---it's usually the reps who struggle to get backing from the weak staff!
I do not work any day off and have lost more than most!!
But i am millitant and will fight to the last to protect our rights----whether that is voting no or what ever!
Nobody can afford to stay out but i can't see another four- dayer coming mate
