Hi , advice needed on ihr
34wks pay
9 wks pilion-12 after 12 yr service all untaxable ?
Shares untaxable as good leaver

But what happens to holidays missed due to being on sick , do they get added on To final payment or do you lose them and if they IHR member from signing paperwork how soon will payment be received,
Any hurdles to look out for? thanks all

The figures you mention are all correct, untaxed shares/lump sum 34 wks/9/12 weeks pilon.

Sick pay is treated the same as normal. IF you had leave booked and you were ill, you should get the leave days recredited and these will form part of your last week's pay taxable, but only pro-rata up to the date you signed IHR form and left. In other words if you leave end Jan which is 10 months full service in 2016/17 you get 10/12 of your leave entitlement minus any leave you actually DID take. Leave booked in that 10 months you didn't take through sickness should be recredited and paid in your last week's taxable pay.

Yes, they can't obstruct you from finding work while waiting if the decision has already been agreed. Obviously if there is any conflicting times i.e. they require any meetings with you at RM it may be relevant to mention it as a courtesy if your work search results in any interviews that would clash with any meetings you have arranged with the DOM etc. or you quickly need references but generally you shouldn't have to mention anything. Good luck in your search for less painful employment!

I left the business officially on the Saturday through IHR..and started my new job on the Monday
