Good evening Comrades,
I have recently returned to work due to a sick absence and I am due to be issued with a stage one on Thursday.
The first day of absence was Saturday 17th December my return day was 31st December. 14 days in total.
My quandary is since 2 days of my absence fell on Bank Holidays should they count as part of the overall absence, and if so should I get 2 days in lieu of the Bank Holidays.
Thanks very much.
Keep On Keeping On.

Christmas Absence Query...
Why didn't you come on here during your 2 week sickness and check the attendance procedure? Amazes me that people don't know 14 days triggers a stage 1. Should of dragged yourself in December 30th or were you pulling a fast one and couldn't handle christmas pressure?

In fairness, red666bear was hardly offering anything useful and was being out of order themselves.
Somebody asked a question, I answered it.
Then someone else decided to have a go at them (there was no need to accuse them of 'pulling a fast one', it was unnecessary and unprovoked).
The op quite rightly got upset.
They responded in an incorrect and inappropriate manner. Wrong, but understandable. I may have responded similarly in their place.
At least they were decent enough to apologise for their outburst.
